Wistful thinking...
Sometimes I wonder where I went wrong...where others always seem to have them in droves, I always seem to be the one sitting alone on the wall...watching...
Is it wrong to want this as well?

LOLZ~!!
I LOVE how that......two-faced martyr and Queen Hypochondriac is still so bloody lost after all that unnecessary "concern" about my business...and I'm miles ahead!!
And babe....the things you do are seriously starting to creep the hell out of me. You bi-polar or something?

Feedback...
It seems all my life I hear people telling me I don't put in enough effort...
Not into my studies...
Not into my work...
Not into my relationships...
What is it that keeps me from pushing past the 60-70% mark?
Damned if I know!
If you do....could YOU tell me?

Not again...
Ok, seriously. If you think that doing this little something is so difficult and such a hassle, DON'T DO IT! Nobody asked you to! Trying to be the grown-up of the group just basically underlines your immaturity....and naivete....and definite inexperience!!
And please, doing it to make yourself feel good isn't for the good of everyone. So go crawl back under your rock please. We'll live!
God, I've been feeling so out-of-sorts that anything just pushes me over the edge!! And to top it off, the Singing Bear and the Clumsy Hyena are back! Whoop-dee-doo~! This was supposed to be off-time!
*stomps off shaking head*

Confusion...
Ok, I am bloody confused right about now.
I've finally found an example of what is expected from the Harvard Referencing System which goes pretty much like this:
"Introduction
Fashion retailers are consistently recognised as the most prolific of international retailers (Hollander, 1970; Fernie et al., 1998; Doherty, 2000; Moore et al., 2000; Wigley and Moore, 2007). While the general fashion and general merchandise fashion retailers (Moore, 2000) have been the focus of some academic attention (Laulajainen, 1991; Moore, 1997; Doherty, 2000; Doherty and Alexander, 2004, 2006), luxury or designer fashion retailers have attracted more consistent attention and form the basis of the current work (Laulajainen, 1992; Fernie et al., 1997; Moore et al., 2000; Moore et al., 2004)."
From: "Flagship stores as a market entry method: the perspective of luxury fashion retailing"
This basically looks like Copying & Pasting multiple parts from almost the same sources to form sentences and paragraphs.....how is this an essay??? It's a freaking jigsaw!! As far as I can tell, the whole article looks pretty much like that...and I seriously have no idea what this is supposed to represent.
Apparently it's supposed to mean you understand what you're reading and can stuff it together to make a coherent point...which I seriously don't get cos it just looks like a legal form of plagiarism to me.
Also, what makes it even more baffling is that we're supposed to be writing for a Research Proposal, assuming we were working in a company. I have no idea about British companies but if I gave this to any one of my ex-bosses I'd get it tossed back and told to actually use my brain instead of just taking what others say.
*bangs head on table*
Perhaps I really shouldn't bother to use my head and just do the same if it guarantees me good marks!! In which case I just don't see the point to this.
Simply put....if you want a damned essay just say you want a damned essay! Don't give it to us and ask us to think like Marketing Managers or Brand Managers because seriously no self-respecting working person would do this! Academics! Pah!
A wolf is a wolf, even if you dump layers of sheepskin on them! *scowls*

Fate? Or Hollywood myth?
Sometimes I get the feeling that Love is a man-made creation...or something impressed on us by the movies we see or books we read. Because how could it be true?
Staple #1:
Guy and girl looks up, eyes meet....it's love at first sight. (Cue slow-mo action scene)
Staple #2:
Girl thinks she's in love with guy, does all sorts of stuff to get his notice. Somehow as she does she realizes she's in love with his best friend/brother/cousin and he loves her too because she's so unique. (Cue cute ditzy albeit sweet girl)
Staple #3:
Guy and girl grow up together, go through everything from long-distance relationships to misunderstandings to adventures to fights etc. Somehow after everything they walk off into the sunset together. (Cue sappy music)
So improbable somehow. Of course there are a gazillion variations but in general, love stories aren't all that different. And Hollywood (or writers) would have us believe that somehow by some Fate or chance you will meet that guy who is crazy about you, who will one day look up and notice you are there. And then there is the "Happy Ever After".
It's beautiful fiction but I have yet to see anything like that with my own eyes. Sure, we see sweet wedding vids but that falls into a form of media as well doesn't it? I haven't yet seen a truly affectionate loving couple (unless you count this couple making out in the theatre, and I don't cos it seems more like lust than anything) or anything at all like the things we see and read.
Maybe the old couples had it right. If anything, the sweetest thing I've seen is how much the old man and woman love each other. They hold hands on the street and walk together; he gives her a peck and she puts her head on his shoulder.
What happened to romance like that?
*sigh*
And yet after all that, I'm still waiting for that moment where I look up, our eyes will meet, and I will see you walking over to me.

Tangled Obsession~!
I haven't seen it yet because lovely Britain seems to be waaaaaaaayyy behind in Movieland...strange considering how much faster movies open in Malaysia~!!
But I have seen clips of it and have fallen completely in love with the songs~!! If you judge, just by the song clips, it seems that Classic Disney is back~!! Yep the Disney that gave us Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella! No Hannah Montana crap!
I may be a little biased (which is strange considering how I haven't even seen it yet~!) but it seems better than The Princess & The Frog~!! Oh well...have to wait till the 28th to confirm! Till then Youtube is my new best friend!!
Ps: Just how cute is Pascal~!! *squeeeeaaaallllll*
Pics taken from Nerds in Babeland!
She's got a really good review there too though you might wanna go only after you've seen it! She's practically written out the whole plot~! :)
And just to whet anyone's appetite...my new favourite song next to Bohemian Rhapsody!!
